McDill Wins Three American Packaging Design Awards
[SOQUEL, CA -- January 23, 2008] McDill Associates, a strategic marketing and design firm based out of Soquel, CA has just been presented with three prestigious American Packaging Design Awards. The awards were received for Opta Energy drink packaging for SunOpta/Organic Ingredients, retail pasta labels for Monterey Gourmet Foods and promotional SpongeBob SquarePants packaging for Grimmway Farms.

The nearly 40-year old national competition is presented by Graphic Design USA. These awards acknowledge that today – packaging, point-of-purchase and in-store graphics are increasingly critical to influencing consumer perception and behavior. Designers often go unnoticed and the American Packaging Design Awards was created to give them the recognition they deserve. There were nearly 1,000 entries submitted to the competition, and McDill was one of only 100 firms honored.
